Karayolları Trafik Yönetmeliği ve TÜVTÜRK standartlarına göre;
Serbest Olanlar: Sürücünün görüşünü engellemeyen, içerinin görünmesini tamamen kapatmayan (belirli bir ışık geçirgenliğine sahip) arka ve yan cam filmleri "Hafif Kusur" olarak muayeneden geçer ve trafik cezası yazılmaz. Genellikle 1 ve 2 numara filmler sorun yaratmaz.
Yasak Olanlar: Ön cama (sürücü görüş alanı) film yapılması yasaktır. Ayrıca içeriyi tamamen karanlık gösteren (zifiri) filmler güvenlik gerekçesiyle ceza sebebidir.
